The WVU Alumni Association, Peach State Chapter, serves as a catalyst in strengthening West Virginia University's presence throughout the Metro Atlanta area and the state of Georgia, enhancing communications between the University and its alumni and friends and facilitating networking opportunities between Alumni, family, and friends of the WVU community.
Upcoming Events
We invite you to our 16th annual golf tournament on Friday, May 13, at Chapel Hills Golf Club in Douglasville, Ga. Cost is $90 per player which includes breakfast, lunch, on-course beverages, and awesome golf prizes. Three WVU coaches will be there as well as representatives from the Mountaineer Athletic Club. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
Contribute
Through annual membership in WVU Peach to raffles at our game watch parties, there are many ways to contibute to WVU through WVU Peach. As a chapter, we have endouwed an academic scholarship fund, commited to funding a $50,000 athletic scholarship, contributed $10,000 to building the new Erickson Alumni Center, and donated $1,000 to the Mountaineer Marching Band.
