These gifts would not be possible without the wonderful Atlanta-area WVU alumni. At all our events, game-watch parties, and gatherings, we encourage our members and friends to give back. Next time you want to give to WVU, we ask you to consult with the WVU Foundation, Mountaineer Athletic Club, or Alumni Association to determine if your contributions to WVU can be dedicated to one of our established scholarship funds. Doing this will bolster the already generous support WVU Peach provides to our University.
Mountaineer Marching Band Gift
When WVU played in the 2014 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic here in Atlanta, WVU Peach donated a $1,000 gift to the Mountaineer Marching Band, in appreciation for playing at our alumni reception the Friday night before the game.
Athletic Scholarship
In May 2013, WVU Peach committed to a $50,000 athletic scholarship to provide an annual athletic scholarship to be designated to an athlete at WVU. We were given 10 years to fulfill the $50,000 commitment but thanks to our incredibly active and generous members, we have achieved 50 percent of our goal in less than three years.

Erickson Alumni Center Building Fund
The beautiful new Erickson Alumni Center on the campus of WVU is one of the finest alumni centers anywhere. WVU Peach is one of only three alumni chapters in the country to contribute $10,000 to the Ericsson Alumni Center Building Fund to assist the WVU Alumni Association in the ongoing process of retiring the debt.
Peach State Scholarship Fund
We established the Peach State Scholarship Fund, an academic scholarship that was endowed in 2008.This scholarship is open to a selected Georgia high school graduate who will attend WVU that upcoming fal and continues to provide financial aid to that student every scholastic year they attend WVU. The scholarship is managed and designated by the WVU Foundation and can be contributed to by individual donors by designating the Peach State Scholarship Fund in your gift.
